ReplyDeleteYou put a lot of work into finding images to illustrate your point of view. It really kept my attention and focused on your discussion.
I'm not sure how you recorded your presentation, but you might be interested in screen capturing software. Community Clips allows you to capture your screen as if you were filming your actions. It is pretty neat, although it distorts some things in powerpoint. There are expensive downloads that work better like Camtasia, but get the freebies first to see if you like it.

ReplyDeleteNot too bad for your first video presentation. You provided a great deal of information. I especially liked how your summararized types of assessment that could be used in online learning.
Marcy suggested some screen capuring software. I would also suggest turning powerpoint slides into pictures (jpeg). These can be uploaded into something like Microsoft Movie Maker.

ReplyDeleteThis was also my very first video presentation other than just PowerPoint and other personal videos and photographs. I learned a lot about capture software and audio. I noticed that Marci mentioned video capture software. I used several things, but ended up liking Debut the best. I also like Audacity for capturing audio. Both of these are free and I used Windows Movie Maker to put it all together. I tried a trial version of Camtasia, but it was too complicated and I don't want to pay $300. for it.
I think you did a good job for your fist video. You had a lot of original work in the video and I think that is good!
I have enjoyed being in class with you and I wish you the best in future courses!
